Graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 1982. I am a second generation chiropractor and began my career practicing with my father Dr. Stan Grabowski in Moosomin Saskatchewan. I moved to Guelph Ontario in 1987 and started the Guelph Chiropractic Health Centre.
I enjoy running a family based practice and treating patients with high quality and professional care. I am a proud member of both the Ontario and Canadian Chiropractic Association.
I enjoy using the Activator adjusting instrument as well as using drop pieces (Thompson technique), manual techniques and acupuncture.
I have an interest in low level laser therapy. I have outfitted the Guelph Chiropractic Health Centre with many different types of lasers and have found it particularly effective to combine laser with acupuncture points.
Dr. Michael C. Grabowski
Graduated from the University of Western Ontario with an Honors Specialization Degree in Kinesiology in 2007. While at Western I spent some of my free time volunteering with the Foot Patrol program walking and driving students home from the library at night. I also found some leisure time participating in various sports including swimming, tennis, volleyball and dodgeball. Studying Kinesiology at Western gave me the confidence and knowledge to prescribe many different and unique therapeutic rehabilitation exercises to help strengthen injured muscles and increase performance.
After graduation at Western in 2007 I immediately enrolled and was accepted at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC). At the college I participated in many intramural activities and clubs. One club in particular was the Motion Palpation Institute (MPI) where we met on a weekly basis to practice and assist our peers in adjusting skills. Through my 4 years at the college and attending the MPI club I focused on my adjusting skills making them as comfortable and effective as possible.
While attending CMCC I spent many of my weekends at seminars learning how to treat different conditions and mastering new techniques. I have completed Activator seminars and I am certified in Thompson technique. During my final clinic year at CMCC I also became certified in acupuncture.
I enjoy spending time out doors. My latest hobbies and activities include wakeboarding, downhill skiing and golf.
